このカテゴリにあるテンプレートは、他言語での表記を、言語名と共に表示することができます。

通常、ドイツ語の{{lang-de}}など、{{lang-言語コード|表記}}の形で使える各言語用のテンプレートが用意されており、それはこのカテゴリに列挙されています。一致しているものもありますが、ISO 639言語コードは、国名コードとは異なります。

このカテゴリにない場合、{{lang-*}} を使うこともできます。

類似テンプレート

Category:言語タグテンプレートは、言語コードを指定するだけで、言語名は表示しません。

作成する場合

新たに言語ラベルのテンプレートを作成する場合は、スタイルを統一しメンテナンスを楽にするため、 {{LangWithName}} あるいは、日本語とは逆に右から左に横書きする言語では{{Rtl-langWithName}}を基とします。

ただし、文字体系を示すラベルのテンプレート（ {{エツピン}} など）については、上記のメタテンプレートによる言語指定は適切ではありません。
