Message definition (Indonesian cuisine ) The use of coconut milk is not exclusive to Indonesian cuisine. It can also be found in Indian, Samoan, Thai, Malaysian, Filipino, and Brazilian cuisines. Nonetheless, the use of coconut milk is quite extensive in Indonesia, especially in [[list of Minangkabau cuisine|Minangkabau cuisine]] and [[Gorontalese cuisine]], although in [[Minahasan]] ([[North Sulawesi]]) cuisine, coconut milk is generally absent, except in Minahasan cakes and desserts such as ''[[klappertaart]]''.
