However, his restaurant ''Chinois on Main'' was named after the term attributed to Richard Wing, who in the 1960s combined French and Chinese cooking at the former [[Imperial Dynasty (restaurant)|Imperial Dynasty]] restaurant in [[Hanford, California]].
