繁殖 ニンニクを鱗片から繁殖させる方法は、株分け と呼ばれる。生産目的のニンニクの無性繁殖には、品種によって異なる低温が必要である。ハードネック種は長時間の低温暴露を必要とする一方、ソフトネック種はより温暖な気候でよく育つ。この低温気候は、複数の鱗片を持つ鱗茎の生育に必要な、鱗片の層化 の一種である春化処理 に必要である。一片種ニンニク は、春化処理なしで栽培されたニンニクの結果である。
