Polycystic ovary syndrome

GLP-1 agonists are recommended as a treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome, alone or in combination with metformin. The combination therapy has shown greater efficacy in improving body weight, insulin sensitivity, hyperandrogenism, and menstrual cycle irregularities. This usage is off label.
