Some research suggests that the ancient [[Indo-Iranians|Indo-Iranian]] drug [[soma (drink)|soma]], mentioned in the [[Veda]]s, sometimes contained cannabis. This is based on the discovery of a basin containing cannabis in a shrine of the [[second millennium BC]] in Turkmenistan. |
