However, many of the same countries use [[horse meat]] and [[mutton]] as the most common meats, similar to [[beef]]. This is owing to [[Mongolian cuisine]]. In [[Kazakhstan]] and [[Kyrgyzstan]], the cuisine has evolved to meet the needs of a nomad lifestyle.
