追加メニューとして 韓国料理店では、チャーハンは食後の人気追加メニューである。客は、タッカルビ （鶏肉の辛炒め）やナッチポックム （タコの炒め物）など、卓上コンロで調理されたメイン料理を食べた後、「パプ・ポッカ・ジュセヨ（밥 볶아 주세요. 、「ご飯を炒めてください」の意）」と言うことがある。すると、メイン料理の残り物に、炊いたご飯と韓国海苔 フレーク、ごま油 が直接加えられ、炒めてお焦げを作る。
