The northern region consisted of [[Hamgyeong]] Province, [[Pyeongan]] Province and [[Hwanghae Province]]. The central region comprised [[Gyeonggi Province]], [[Chungcheong Province]], and [[Gangwon (historical)\|Gangwon Province]]. [[Gyeongsang Province]] and [[Jeolla Province]] made up the southern region.
