Fruits are used to make a popular salad dish called [[Rojak#Fruit rojak|rojak]] (Chinese: 水果囉喏).  It consists of pieces of fruit and vegetable bound with a viscous dark sauce made from shrimp paste, sugar, chilli, and lime juice.
