&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Nasi padang&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, sometimes referred to as &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Padang rice&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, is a [[Padang cuisine|Minangkabau]] dish of [[steamed rice]] served with various choices of pre-cooked [[Minangkabau cuisine|dishes]] originating from [[West Sumatra]], [[Indonesia]]. It is named after the city of [[Padang]], the capital of the West Sumatra province. A miniature banquet of meats, fish, vegetables, and spicy [[sambal]]s eaten with plain white rice, it is Sumatra&amp;#039;s most famous export and the [[Minangkabau people]]&amp;#039;s primary contribution to [[Indonesian cuisine]].&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
