Around 918 A.D., a Japanese medical dictionary entitled &quot;Japanese names of (Chinese) Materia Medica&quot; (&#039;&#039;Honzō-wamyō&#039;&#039;) was compiled, quoting from 60 Chinese medical works.</div>
