In April 2021, the [[European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines &amp;amp; HealthCare|European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines]] (EDQM) warned of the risk of contamination with non-nitrosamine impurities (specifically, [[azide|azido]] compounds) in tetrazole-containing sartans.
