2014年に設立されたLatchは、建物や居住者にエンタープライズSaaSを提供し、空間を住みやすく、働きやすく、訪問しやすい場所にする会社である。Latchは設立当初から、Tishman Speyer、Brookfieldなどのパートナーや投資家として、国内最大級の不動産オーナーの多くと手を取り合ってきた。当社は35以上の州で30万戸以上を予約しており、2019年には米国の新築多世帯アパートの10件に1件がLatchで建設されている。

共同創業者兼CEOのLuke Schoenfelderが率いる当社の実績ある経営陣は、買収後もLatchの運営・管理を継続します。Tishman Speyerの社長兼CEOであり、TSIAのCEO兼会長であるRob Speyerは、本取引の完了後、当社の取締役会に参加する。
